ALLPACHU SOAP is a smart original product flowed out from a particular approach and principle inspired to the ECO DESIGN CONCEPT. This by definition consists of including safeguard criteria over a product’s whole lifecycle aimed at anticipating and reducing its negative consequences on the environment, taking into account climatic impacts and effects on biodiversity.

Being ECO-EFFICIENT in doing art, design and any other implementation of ideas is a growing responsability and awareness of our ecological footprint on the planet.

Through the ECO DESIGN it is possible to achieve a circular economy perspective eliminating waste, composting biodegradable leftovers, or reusing production scraps and finally differentiating for recycling.

On the other hand, it also meanings cutting off the use of chemical substances and make a responsible use of resources such as energy and water.

That’s how our ALLPACHU SOAP embraces all this principles :

 * We are recovering the leftovers of our alpacas fleece, such as the third choice and all the too short tufts excluded by the spinning process, to be reused in the soap-making process.  Thus the fiber scraps, which are so naturally rich in keratin, are converted into  a precious resourse. A truly cool way to get zero post-shearing waste.

* Alpaca hair is naturally coloured, it offers the richest colour range out of all the natural fibers. This allows us to realize candy-coloured soap bars without adding any chemical coloring.

* ALLPACHU SOAP contains just biodegradable ingredients. The oils, butters and essential oils used in the manufacturing are of vegetal origin. When palm oil and palm kernel oil and their derivatives  are employed they are sourced from plantation that meet criteria for sustainable management.

* ALLPACHU SOAP do not contain parabens, surfactans agents, preservatives, chemical additives or any other synthesised substances.

* Wherever possible we stay in line with the short chain and zero mile philosophies. Milk, honey, fruits, flowers, spices or any other plant employed to obtain a particular chromatic effect, fragrance, consistence, is preferably part of our harvest or provided by the neighboring farms.

* We have opted for an eco-friendly packaging which is plastic free and made by recycled or recyclable paper.
